Cycling groups

Next week, Year 5 will be taking part in the cycling programme ‘Bikeability’. I have listed the groups for Monday below. If you are cycling in the afternoon group, you do not need to bring your swimming kits. I will let you know the groups for the rest of the week when we are back at school. Please dress appropriately for the weather and make sure that you bring some gloves, as well as your cycling helmet. We are happy for you to change into more comfortable clothing such as tracksuit bottoms or leggings, and trainers but you must wear your uniform for the rest of the day. As mentioned in the homework letter, we are unable to store bikes securely overnight so please make every effort to take them home. Please either contact me via the blog or by email if you have any questions.

E-Safety presentation

Year 5 delivered an assembly to the school today about E-Safety. Over the last couple of weeks, the childrenĀ have researched the topic and then created their presentation. They planned the assembly independently too. Well done everyone; you spoke clearly and confidently to everyone. We were very proud of you. Here is the PowerPoint:

Parents please come along to a talk for grown ups on the same subject on Thursday 25th February at 7pm.
